Hobby Turned Into A Passion

Aside from cooking, baking and doing arts and crafts, gardening is another hobby of mine that was already turned into passion.  Obviously, I love nature, whenever I go outdoors I would always have a great time visiting parks and gardens aside from beaches, of course.  There is always something about nature that moves me.  The serenity that it brings me is beyond question.  Whenever, I am on deep thoughts, I would always tell myself that the gift of nature is something worth keeping and worth remembering.

Since my busy time at home, being a domesticated Mom, and having my hands full with my freelance jobs prohibited me from exploring the outdoors, I am doing my best to bring the outdoors into my home.  I wanted my home to be full of greens.  This is also another reason why I prefer more outdoor rooms and lesser space inside the house.

My next project is vegetable gardening but I am doing it in containers. I've been studying and researching about the possibility of growing vegetables in containers.  The idea suddenly popped out from my mind because I find it quite impossible for someone like me to have a steady supply of greens for my salad by buying these from the supermarket and storing the same in my ref.  Greens like lettuce, onion leeks, and other varieties of green leafy vegetables won't last in the refrigerator. Unless you have a luxury of time traveling back and forth to the supermarket, then that's the only time you can have your salad daily.  So, I thought that growing a few amount of these in containers would be substantial for my own requirement.  I am working on few projects now but I am very eager to start on this container gardening very soon. :)

Reorganization Projects Continue!

I'm dealing with my Sciatic pains lately but this does not stop me from my organization projects at home.  I am and will continue to declutter the house and get rid of unnecessary stuff.  I want a simple but elegant home and I know that it is not about how expensive your furniture and decor is but it is on how you arrange them, and to me that really matters. I have to say sorry to my daughter but I have to get rid of her never used stuff, as well. She has a guitar which is very seldom used.  I also have to say sorry but the best bass pedals she is eyeing for will not be a priority at the moment.  Good thing my kids are easy to deal with. They normally would understand at the first attempt of explanation (lol).

As I am planning to change my living room set to a smaller but  more functional piece, I was also looking at having this Larosso Recreational Folding Chair.

I was having back issues and my doctor recommended me to have a comfortable chair at home where I could sit while resting or watching TV.  I saw this recreational chair at Lazada and I am tempted to buy this.

I need to rearrange my living room furniture in such a way that it would look more spacious but functional. I have this living room set which is so bulky and the arm rest are huge that these consume a lot of space.  It also doesn't fit the space allotted for, so I think it's about time to make a move. :)

Will be posting my newly rearranged living room once it's done. :)
