Aside from cooking, baking and doing arts and crafts, gardening is another hobby of mine that was already turned into passion. Obviously, I love nature, whenever I go outdoors I would always have a great time visiting parks and gardens aside from beaches, of course. There is always something about nature that moves me. The serenity that it brings me is beyond question. Whenever, I am on deep thoughts, I would always tell myself that the gift of nature is something worth keeping and worth remembering.
Since my busy time at home, being a domesticated Mom, and having my hands full with my freelance jobs prohibited me from exploring the outdoors, I am doing my best to bring the outdoors into my home. I wanted my home to be full of greens. This is also another reason why I prefer more outdoor rooms and lesser space inside the house.
My next project is vegetable gardening but I am doing it in containers. I've been studying and researching about the possibility of growing vegetables in containers. The idea suddenly popped out from my mind because I find it quite impossible for someone like me to have a steady supply of greens for my salad by buying these from the supermarket and storing the same in my ref. Greens like lettuce, onion leeks, and other varieties of green leafy vegetables won't last in the refrigerator. Unless you have a luxury of time traveling back and forth to the supermarket, then that's the only time you can have your salad daily. So, I thought that growing a few amount of these in containers would be substantial for my own requirement. I am working on few projects now but I am very eager to start on this container gardening very soon. :)
